So last week Boston based rock band The Venetia Fair announced details on their awaited cover EP ‘The Venetia Fair … Basically Just Does Karaoke’ .

The idea of this cover EP came about with the success of the bands Kickstater campaign in 2012 which funded their album ‘Every Sick Disgusting Though We’ve Got In Our Brain’.

Six donors purchased a prize which entitled them to choose a song for the band to cover - as a result the track listing for this EP was made.

You can see what the band had to say here on the announcement  article http://www.shoutitloudreviews.com/index.php/music-news/item/267-the-venetia-fair-announce-cover-ep

‘The Venetia Fair … Basically Just Does Karaoke’  is a six track EP:

 - Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen

- Come on Eileen - Dexy's Midnight Runner

- Rock Lobster - The B52s

- Jesus of Suburbia - Green Day

- Camouflage, Camouflage - The Blood Brothers

- The Willing Well III: Apollo II: The Telling Truth – Coheed and Cambria

‘The Venetia Fair … Basically Just Does Karaoke’  is an EP filled with covers you wouldn’t know were covers as the band have well and truly successfully added their own unique twist to classic songs making them their own, which is a great touch to the EP!  If you want songs like Jesus of Suburbia but with a fresh and individual spin on it then get ‘The Venetia Fair … Basically Just Does Karaoke’  .

This is a cover EP that won’t disappoint!

‘The Venetia Fair … Basically Just Does Karaoke’ will be released on the 24th December so keep your eyes peeled for it!
