First up was Gentlemen’s Club, an Indie/pop band from just outside of Cambridge, who had a great set with a unique sound. They were a refreshing feeling from the generic sounding support band that you are bound to always see at every gig. Definitely should have been higher on the bill than they were.
Swim Good were next with their inoffensive pop rock set. They had a good set, although it felt as if it lacked something to make it anything special.
Whereas Tides had a fantastic set, that showed both maturity as a band and headlining band material. This was the band that definitely stole the show tonight with their Pop/Funk/Rock that just has you bobbing along. This is a band that has the right attitude, musical material and talent.
The headliners of tonight were Paige who had a great set, but it felt a little rushed and at times lacked any connection with the crowd, as if they were a support act and they were performing to a new crowd, not something you except from the headliner.
Overall though a pretty good night of live music!
