As a band what are your musical influences?
“The ones that comes to mind are John Mayer, John Butler Trio, some Counting Crows recently 1975, Foo Fighters, Haim & Lorde are popping up in the mix”.
Why should people listen to your music?
“We believe in our music and enjoy sharing our creations with as many people who are lucky enough to have open ears. We didn't have a team of people writing for us, our songs came from an organic place and hopefully it grows in a pretty tainted environment.”
How do you think you differ from other bands?
“Each member is from a different continent and we offer high fives to anyone that checks out the band!”
How are you feeling as the release of your new EP comes ever closer?
“We're excited! We just can't wait to share our songs. We have been running a competition (where you can win a limited edition single) every week for the last four weeks to celebrate our release on the 2nd of Dec. We have had such a good response from that because of that it makes the run up even more fun”.
What do you want to achieve as a band?
“We would love to have a bank full of memories. Also would love to play the big festivals, play the big tours and really enjoy this musical journey!”
Why did you turn down the opportunity of Britain's Got Talent, after being approached and offered a private interview to take part last year?
“To be honest it's not a path that I'd feel comfortable to take, I believe in what we’re doing and what we’re creating. Without sounding too cliché but you have to follow your heart and even more so when it comes to a big passion!”
Describe the band in three words
“Lively, Energetic & Honest”
What does the rest of this year and next year hold for the band?
“This year we plan to do some live acoustic sessions for some online magazines and radio stations. Hopefully fingers crossed have a little gift from Father Calgary just in time for 25th! Next year we have a lot in the pipeline, we have been really busy behind the scenes with a lot of things lately. Hopefully with all that work going on we hopefully can look back on 2014 and be proud of what we achieved.”
