Panic! At The Disco hit the stage in London tonight for their only UK tour date ahead of their fifth album release ‘Death Of A Bachelor’ and got straight into it with one of their new tracks ‘Don’t Threaten Me With A Good Time’ which was followed by ‘Vegas Lights’. A number of their new songs also made apprentices tonight including ‘LA Devotee’, ‘Victories’ and ‘Hallelujah’. That all when down a storm with the crowd.
This was an energetic set from the band that saw Brendon Urie sing, dance and backflip his way through the performance in his true showmanship style. Tonight’s set was a very strong set from Urie.
The band also slipped in songs such as ‘Nine in the Afternoon’, ‘New Perspective’, ‘I Write Sins Not Tragedies’ and ‘Lying Is the Most Fun a Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off’. Panic! Also added in a covers of Queen’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ with a tribute chorus of David Bowie’s ‘Oh! You Pretty Things’.
Brenden Urie added tonight that all proceeds from merch would be donated to Cancer Research in honour of David Bowie.
Brixton Academy was filled to the max with atmosphere tonight, as Panic! At The Disco performed one hell of a set! This is a band that knows how to perform and knows how to put together a set list filled with fan favourite tracks that move seamlessly from one track to another.
The performance tonight was finished with their new single ‘Emperor’s New Clother’!
